The Big Red Bash!

March 27 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm at Oakdale in Ashland.

Meet our VIP “Pepe,” a retired racehorse and big, handsome descendant of Secretariat!  He will be joining us, and we hope you will too, at the BIG RED BASH to kick off our annual Secretariat Celebration!  

Come toast Secretariat’s birthday and enjoy the beautiful pastoral setting of Oakdale along with champagne, mint juleps, lavish grazing tables of charcuterie and desserts, live music on the patio, an exciting new horse racing game and much more.

Our silent auction may get a bit noisy once you see the array of original equestrian art, rare Secretariat memorabilia, and even a five-night stay at sculptor Jocelyn Russell’s Airbnb in Paris, Kentucky!  

Don your best “Derby attire” and enter our contest for Best Derby Outfits. One lady and one gentleman each will win a delightful prize. (Hint: blue & white are the Meadow Stable colors.)  

Proceeds go to the maintenance of the Secretariat monument and Reynolds Family Plaza in Ashland and to educational efforts on this region’s renowned horse history.
